Gov. Brown Protects Pedophiles/Sexual Predators

This is the very reason why we are fighting to eliminate Statute of Limitation Laws on sex crimes against children. People like Gov. Brown of California are still protecting the pedophiles/sexual predators hiding within the Catholic Church and other private institutions.

Either Gov. Brown is ignorant of how long it may take a victim of childhood sexual abuse to come forward, or he is defending the pedophiles, either way he made a very poor decision and should not be Governor any longer. If you are a California voter, make sure he, or anyone he endorses doesn’t get another term.

In 2006 David took the first step in acknowledging the sexual abuse that was perpetrated against him from the ages of 12 to 15. During those 3 years, the foundation his family had worked so hard to build within him was destroyed by one man, his youth minister. The result was his heart, mind and faith were lost. After having kept this secret for more than 25 years, he was finally able to reveal to his family and friends the reason behind the addiction and self-destruction that at times had him incarcerated, eventually left him destitute and nearly ended his life. Fortunately he was blessed with amazing friends and a loving family who helped him get the help and therapy he so desperately needed. He was finally able to get clean from the grip of addiction and face the demon of sexual abuse that had clouded his life for so long. Now he and his wife work to aid their fellow survivors through the non-profit they created, Together We Heal. The mission of Together We Heal is to provide guidance for survivors of childhood sexual abuse, educating parents and all adults through public speaking on matters concerning Childhood Sexual Abuse and giving a safe forum for victims of abuse to share, learn and heal. 1. When I tried to have my rapist arrested The state of Florida did nothing due to my< this is their way of thinking), I was not able to remember it all when I filed the first report and when I had a huge trigger I saw where I lived when it first happened so they said due to my changing my story it was not going to pursue an arrest. They were very nasty to me when I had to send a complaint to the Police Chief due to the fact the detective would not return my phone calls to find out the statues of the investigation.
The laws also prevented me from suing my rapist and the church he worked for where many of the assaults and rapes took place during the course of their operating events and even during Sunday service.
I was taken across state line into Alabama and again in Mississippi. I was raped while on a Indian Reservation during a mission trip. I was raped at a state park and at a national park. There was nothing anyone would do. They never even allowed me to tell them all the places it happened. They did not give a damn.
The laws much change. These attack on the children that hold the future for this nation must be protected.

  2. oops, I made my comment about Gov Brown on the wrong post. From those I know who live in CA, there is suspicions that Gov Brown is not mentally sound and is being propped up by others. Keep up the fight!! We must not give up.
